2nd Year Stamp Project
Aim of Unit of Learning :
Students will create a stamp based on one of their selected themes of 'landscape, fashion or food' through a variety of different artisitic processes such as collage, monoprinting, and typography, combining and collaging these techniques, while learning about tone, line, shape, colour, unity and balance.

Introduction to project, typography basics and designing their own type.

Creating and designing a collage based on their chosen theme, researching and developing theme.

Learning content :
creating a monoprint based on their chosen theme using primary source images.

Learning content :
Students collage all elements of collage, printing and create a typography font of the place and price. create boarder for stamp and scan in digitally for finished piece

creating a zine book with every students stamp in the book, students design cover, students get printing off sticker of their stamp with zig zag edges in different sizes
