SEN

Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of teaching SEN classes, which has deepened my understanding of the importance of differentiation and inclusive teaching practices. Working with students of diverse abilities has taught me to adapt lessons creatively to ensure every student feels supported and capable of succeeding.

I use a variety of strategies, such as breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps, incorporating visual aids and tactile resources, and providing clear, structured instructions. I also prioritize flexibility, allowing students to approach tasks in ways that suit their individual strengths and learning styles. Building positive relationships with my students and creating a safe, encouraging environment are central to my approach.

These experiences have reinforced my belief that every student has the potential to thrive when given the right tools and opportunities. Teaching SEN classes has been incredibly rewarding, and it continues to shape my practice as an inclusive and empathetic educator.
